WHEN YOU KNOW JESUS
When you know Jesus, know his joys and know his pain,
When you've come to understand all the burdens that he bears,
Then you'll learn to love him every day.
In days of distress and grief, draw a little closer to him,
lay your head upon his breast,
Trust in him and he will do the rest.
You'll find that you can live without fear,
And all your sorrows will turn to joy.
Now the troubles that come your way my friend
were here from yesterday;
So let Jesus come into your heart I pray
and wash them all away.
Oh, north and south and east and west
or wherever you may go,
Just trust the one who knows you best,
as he's the light, to lead you along
the path of righteousness
